Hell to Pay

A man who thinks he's losing his soul, meets a man who has.

Detective Michael Bailey is a seasoned homicide detective who can't escape the deaths of twin girls that happened on his watch. Over the years, it slashed at his sanity and sobriety, and now he stands at the crossroads of his life. The murder investigation of a young woman sends him over the edge.

George Graham is an antique store owner who has fallen for the wrong woman. When rejected and berated in public, George runs home to find a strange old man with an antique box wanting to make a deal. George buys the box and inside finds a matted scalp, a relic of untold power.

The Moon Is Full and the Ghosts Walk Among Us.

Last blog of the Hop.  A local landmark known by many names, now a simple bed and breakfast.  Rumors have been around for years of noises upstairs, cold drafts, and the feeling of being watched.  Built in 1888, this site is full of history and memories.

The night is young, and the full moon lights the last of the leaves.  Ghosts walk among us and I must join them.  Tell me a story, one that talks of this place.  Once known as Campbell or Crumm Castle and at one time was an institution.  I will pick a story that makes my skin crawl for an e-book copy of "Hell to Pay".

Happy Halloween

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Red spots are tornados, don't ask about the brown spot.
Not too much gets me worried.  Not often, but when a large tornado come barreling down the highway and they release a tornado emergency for your city, it can be a cause for alarm.  I'm a storm chaser, so I'm used to being out in the elements.  Last night, with a wedge tornado coming through town, I decided to stay home and get everyone to safety.  Luckily, the tornado was too strong for itself, took a big right turn and moved away from us.  Other parts of Wichita were not so lucky.  There was some major damage to the city, but have yet to hear of any fatalities, and here at the compound the minions and I are safe.  I guess it's healthy for a horror writer to be occasionally scared.
